  1. DISADVANTAGED YOUTH
    DISADVANTAGED YOUTH
    The mission of The National Association for Black Veterans – Christian Soldiers Chapter No. U.D. of the National Association for Black Veterans is to assist young people who are economically, socially, and academically challenged to focus on their education as a means to success. Our overall goal is to provide youngsters with alternatives to the negative pressures they face every day in their communities and to help them develop a healthy, positive sense of themselves as individuals who can thrive in society.
  2. Veterans Reintegration
    Veterans Reintegration
    outreach component using veterans who themselves have experienced homelessness. The emphasis on helping homeless veterans obtain and retain jobs is enhanced through the many linkages and coordination with various veterans' services programs and organizations such as the Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program stationed in the local employment service offices of the State Workforce Agencies, One-Stop Centers, as well as the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Housing and Urban Development, and Health and Human Services.
  3. Ministry to Vets
    Ministry to Vets
    Veterans have been returning from wars for countless centuries in almost every corner of the world. Battles were and are being fought in localized insurgencies, revolutions, civil wars, regional conflicts, and, at least in the twentieth century, in two World Wars. Of the veterans who do return, many are badly injured, physically and/or mentally. AND WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!!!!!
